WildLensIndia was established by two friends - one American and one Indian - who are passionate about nature photography and who believe that travel and experiencing new cultures are among life’s richest experiences. Peter Dominowski (based in the USA) and Anil Tyagi (based in India) have been organizing nature photography journeys in India for their friends over the last several years, and are now making these personally-planned tours with hand-picked guides available to all.
Dominowski says, “The idea behind our tours is simple; these are the places we’d take our friends if they wanted to see and photograph a wide variety of birds, lions, and tigers in India! We are serious about our photography, but also have a wonderful time enjoying the travel experience together.”
Our small groups (no more than 8 travelers) encourage flexibility and new experiences, which WildLensIndia includes in each tour. “As much as we love photographing nature, we also enjoy making an impromptu stop along the road to sample local cuisine or just to get a cup of home-made chai,” said Tyagi. “And as a food blogger, I always enjoy explaining Indian cooking and food traditions, especially to friends who are visiting my country for the first time.”
Partnering with professional tour organizers in India and an American travel agency ensure that all of our travel arrangements provide our guests with the best professional services. Many of the nature guides on our tours have accompanied us on previous bird and wildlife expeditions, so we can vouch for their friendliness and knowledge.
As you consider which tours are best for you, we will personally answer all of your questions. Our goal is to ensure that you are prepared to enjoy one of the best travel experiences of your life on a WIldLensIndia tour.
